Online CDA Renewal Checklist

Start preparing ahead, the renewal application must be received by the council by the expiration date of your current CDA.  The council does not allow for exceptions or extensions.  If your credentials expire, you will have to reapply to obtain a new credential. Your can start ahead on your renewal 6 months before your credentials expire. The Following is required to renew a CDA:

  • First Aid and Infants CPR certification

  • 45 hours of continued professional education (This Course)

  • Membership to a national or local early childhood organization

  • A recommendation from an ECE reviewer (We can provide that)

  • Must have access to a computer and printer
