The Paraprofessional Core Training course introduces you to the profession of classroom support in K–12 educational settings. You will develop knowledge about instructional assistance, student development, and best practices for working alongside licensed teachers. Diverse classroom environments, support roles, federal requirements, and real-world scenarios will be discussed and reviewed throughout the course. You will clarify your purpose for working with students, develop a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and rewards of being a qualified paraprofessional, and expand your awareness of the important role you play in helping every child succeed.
